When it came out over the last few months that Huey Lewis had been battling with a serious hearing loss condition, it seemed like we’d never have any new music from the band. It seems that in the last couple of years, Lewis hasn’t been able to perform live or record consistently because he would wake up and not be able to hear anything. It was seemingly random, some days he would be fine, other days….well, he couldn’t hear anything. It’s a terrible condition for a musician of any caliber and Lewis admitted he was incredibly depressed about the entire situation. Well, a new album HAS been released, it came out this past Friday (February 14th) and it’s called ‘Weather’. It’s a great return to the ‘Blue Eyed Soul’ that Lewis is so good at. Admittedly, it’s a little short (it clocks in at just under 30 minutes) but it’s really good and a great way for the band to cap off an amazing career! Check out ‘While We’re Young’ below!
