International Emergency Declared Over Virus

The World Health Organization is declaring the coronavirus an international emergency.

This as more cases of the disease are being confirmed in different parts of the world. The United Kingdom says it has its’ first two cases, while Germany has its’ fifth. To date, Canada has three cases, with a married couple in Toronto confirmed, and one man in British Columbia.

The number of airlines globally temporarily suspending flights to China, where the disease started, is growing. Air Canada announced earlier this week it was making the move.

Schools in China are starting to suspend some classes.
