Six Morning Collisions Keep Police Busy

Update 12noon:

The full assessment of a number of collisions in the area by OPP and Thunder Bay police continues.

The morning started with a crash that temporarily shut down Fort William Road this morning between a city bus and car, at Second Avenue. Police say it appears the car rear ended the bus, with injuries not known at this time.

Next, we head to the corner of Oliver and the Thunder Bay Expressway, where a two vehicle crash sent one person to hospital, injuries not known.

There was a three vehicle collision on the Expressway at John, no injuries there, as well as two other rear enders in the same area, injuries not known.

And, finally, no injuries in a 2 vehicle mishap at the Thunder Bay and Harbour Expressways.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
