The OPP have released the name of a woman killed in a crash on Highway 502 yesterday. She has been identified as 87-year-old Jean Steele from Emo.
The accident took place Tuesday afternoon about 20 kilometres north of Highway 11. The OPP say a northbound motor vehicle collided with a southbound car. Steele was a passenger in the southbound vehicle.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital by ambulance personnel.
The highway was closed for about eight hours due to the collision.
