$70-Million Won In Lotto Max Draw

Someone in Ontario is $70-million richer.

The winning ticket for the Lotto Max draw was sold in Brampton, which the lottery says if the winner comes forward, it’ll be the largest lottery win in Canadian history.

There were 6 winners who are each taking home one million dollars, all are in southern Ontario.

The closest winner to northern Ontario was in Sudbury, a winner who takes $100,000.

There was no winner in Thunder Bay.

Further east in New Brunswick, there were two winning tickets, each worth $500,000.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
