Police Investigate Possible Shooting

A 25-year old man has been arrested in connection with an assault on High Street.

Thunder Bay police say they were called to the Pet-Tastic store at the corner of Queen Street, just after the noon hour Saturday, to reports of a gun being fired. Police found a 33-year old man, who appeared to be the victim of an assault, and sent him to hospital for treatment of injuries.

Details of those injuries have not been released. Police add the victim and accused know each other.

The Thunder Bay Police Major Crimes Unit is now involved, examining reports of a firearm possibly being used. The Pet-Tastic store has been surrounded by yellow police tape.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
