Help Expected For Long-Term Care

The provincial government is looking for feedback on how to best fund minor capital repair projects at long-term care centres.

Consultations between the long-term care sector and government will take place in January. The Minister in charge, Dr. Merrilee Fullerton, says the two sessions will be to gather feedback on how to put together a minor capital funding program.

The minister adds the consultations are needed because long-term care providers know best of what is needed to maintain their homes and quality care to residents.

The Ministry will also be accepting written feedback on proposals from long-term care givers, and you can do that by emailing this address ltc.info@ontario.ca.
