Former city councillor Larry Hebert will be appearing in court in person on Friday morning. In bail court on Tuesday he appeared from the District Jail via video conference. There were several delays in the court due to a noon hour incident at the jail and then later a shift change.
Hebert’s lawyer David Young spoke with his client and then returned to the court room to book his next appearance. Young reminded the court there is a publication ban covering many of the details of the case.
Hebert faces a charge of attempted murder following what police described as a “serious incident” at a residence on the 400 block of south Vickers Street.
