An abandoned 9-1-1 call on the city’s south side led to a lengthy investigation involving a reported abduction.
Police tell us it began as a call referencing a 25-year-old woman who may have been taken.
That call was made just after 2:30 in the morning Sunday.
Police tell us after much confusion the female was found, but not after police were satisfied she was safe.
A portion of that investigation was even broadcast live on social media by one of the people who complained.
Eventually, after several interviews and car searches, the victim was found safe and confirmed she was not at the location against her will.
