Cardiac Campaign Looks For Boost On Giving Tuesday

It’s Giving Tuesday today and the Regional Health Sciences Centre is looking for your support for the Our Hearts At Home Cardiovascular Campaign.

Heather Vita of the Health Sciences Foundation tells us money raised today will go toward supporting their proposed heart surgery unit.
She explains they are attempting to raise $40,000 towards instruments and equipment trays for the unit.

The Our Hearts at Home Campaign has a goal of raising $14 million for the project and so far at least $12 million has been collected.
