You’re being asked to help identify two suspects after an armed robbery on the south side.
City police were called to a Circle K on Arthur Street East just after 8:00 yesterday morning.
Two men entered the store armed with long guns, aimed them at the clerk and demanded cash and other items, and fled with an unspecified amount of money. They were last seen fleeing north on Franklin Street.
Both suspects are described as having a lighter complexion and thin build, standing between 5’5” and 5’8” tall. The first suspect wore a dark jogging pants with white writing on the upper left vertically down the leg, black shoes with white soles, and a black hoodie with “G-Unit Heavyweight” in white on the front and white stripes around the wrists with a white stripe around the shoulders and bottom. He also had a purple face covering with white symbol on the front and was carrying a purple bag and a solid black military style long gun.
The other suspect wore grey slim pants, black shoes with white soles and white laces, a solid black hoodie, a grey face covering, purple hat, and glasses with clear lenses. He carried a satchel bag with a wide black strap that had solid black on the front and back with digital camouflage print vertically down both sides. He also carried a solid black hunting style rifle.
