Local Appointment To Climate Advisory Panel

Thunder Bay’s Georjann Morriseau is going to serve as a member of Ontario’s Advisory Panel on Climate Change.

Environment Minister Jeff Yurek says “the panel will provide expert advice on the implementation of the province’s climate change actions – especially how Ontarians can prepare for the costs and impacts of climate change.”

Morriseau is currently a member of the Thunder Bay Police Services Board and once served as the chief of the Fort William First Nation.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
