TTC Streetcars Pulled Off The Road

There are problems that forced Toronto Transit Commission to remove it’s Bombardier build streetcars from service. However, the Thunder Bay assembled vehicles are not to blame.

According to a Bombardier official this morning a track problem forced the TTC to take streetcars out of service on one of its most popular downtown commuter lines.

Toronto is not the only Ontario city struggling with the efficiency of its public commuting system. Ottawa has been having problems with its light rapid transit vehicles this month causing grief for many stranded passengers.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
