Tentative Deal Reached In CN Rail Strike

A week-long strike by thousands of C-N Rail workers across Canada is about to come to an end.

Teamsters Canada says it has reached a tentative agreement with C-N Rail to renew the collective agreement.

The union says normal operations will resume Wednesday morning across the country.

More than 3,000 conductors, yard workers and people working on trains walked off the job last Tuesday.

Union officials say details of the tentative agreement won’t be released until members have had the chance to review it.
