A three-vehicle crash near St. Pius X school this morning has led to charges against one person.
Police say it happened just after 8 o’clock this morning at Windsor Street and Clarkson Street.
A 29-year-old man is charged with dangerous driving causing injuries and failing to remain at the scene of a collision.
Police say he was also driving without a license.
An investigation revealed a van traveling northbound on Clarkson went through the stop sign at Windsor.
At the same time, police say a car was turning onto Clarkson from Windsor and was struck by the van.
The car flipped on to a nearby boulevard, at which point the van struck another car that was heading southbound.
Several pedestrians had to leap out of the way to avoid being involved in the collision.
One woman, who had to be extricated from one of the vehicles, was sent to the hospital but her injuries are not considered life-threatening.
