Caught Doing 175 kmh on Hwy 11/17

A stunt driving charge has been laid against a Toronto area resident after Thunder Bay police pulled a vehicle over for speeding on the 11/17.

They say it was in the middle of the afternoon, around 3 o’clock on Wednesday, when police say they found the 36-year old going over 175 km an hour in a 90 zone near Balsam Street.

The vehicle has been impounded for 7 days, the driver’s licence also suspended for 7 days.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
