Fire Code Violations Laid Against Landlords

A Thunder Bay landlord has been charged with obstruction during inspection of a building by the Fire Marshall’s office.

Thunder Bay Fire and Rescue tells us the $6,000 fine came after an assistant to the Fire Marshall was attempting to look over the building yesterday.

Two other landlords in the city are also included in the total of 16 fire code violations, totaling $12,000 in fines.
