Home Invasion At Gunpoint On Finlayson

Thunder Bay Police are investigating an armed robbery involving handguns that took place on Finlayson Street between 4 and 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

They say residents heard a repeated knocking at their front door, and when they answered it, two men forced their way inside the home at gunpoint.

One resident was assaulted. The suspects took a number of items with an estimated value of over $10,000.

Police say the men appeared to speak in a foreign language to each other during the robbery.

The first suspect is described as being a man standing about six-feet tall with a very dark complexion. He wore a black Canada Goose- style jacket with a fur-lined hood, black pants and a black balaclava at the time of the incident.

The second suspect is described as being a man with a dark complexion, but lighter than the first suspect. He wore black jeans, a black windbreaker at the time of the incident.
