Five people, three from Toronto, are charged in connection with a south-side drug and weapons bust.
Police say they raided a residence on Mountdale Avenue between Mary and Frances Streets on Tuesday afternoon.
During the search officers located a loaded handgun, a rifle, a quantity of cocaine, cash, and paraphernalia police tell us is consistent with drug trafficking.
The estimated street value of drugs seized totals about $36,000.
The value of currency seized is about $20,000.
