Coat Drive Returns For 13th Year

You can help those less fortunate stay warm this winter by donating a coat.

Gear Up for Outdoors is collecting used coats, and Spokesperson Jon Wynn tells us it’s something that’s badly needed because there are so many in our city who are homeless and can’t afford to buy a jacket.

The business will be collecting coats at their store on Alloy Place up until December 20th.

Children’s jackets will be donated to Precious Bundles, while Shelter House, Grace Place and the Clothing Assistance will share the coats for adults.
