Police are hoping they have solved a murder case from last year.
They tells us an arrest has been made in connection with the death of 31-year-old-Amelia Corrie Sainnawap.
Police report she was found unconscious in a laneway in the 200 block of Simpson Street in the early morning hours of August 22nd, 2018.
She was pronounced dead at the hospital.
This afternoon police say a Thunder Bay man was arrested and charged with second degree murder.
He is due to make a court appearance tomorrow, at which time his name will be released.
