Thunder Bay Police are relaunching their “Am I Missing” campaign as school is back in session.
The campaign includes a video that urges family and friends to act quickly is someone you know goes missing.
The initiative was part of the response to the inquest into the deaths of seven Indigenous youths in Thunder Bay.
The video tries to clear up myths around missing person reports, including the idea that you have to wait 24 to 48 hours after someone appears to go missing.
Police launched the campaign in June of 2018.
