Do not expect Thunder Bay Transit to be including free wi-fi on any of its buses anytime soon even though other cities, like Winnipeg, have tried it.
Transit Manager Brad Loroff believes it is not a “short term” priority at this moment, but he might consider it for their bus terminals.
He notes that could be “a starting point.”
The city transit manager adds at the moment there are too many unanswered questions surrounding the idea, especially when it comes to cost.
