Police Assisted In Arrest Of Alleged Thief

An observant Thunder Bay resident is getting credit for helping police nab an alleged thief in the north end.

Police tell us they were called to the St. Paul and Van Norman Street area mid morning Wednesday, to reports of items stolen from a parked vehicle.

Police found the resident had watched a man acting suspiciously around parked cars, and by the time the resident approached the man, he was in a vehicle.

The alleged thief fled the area, with the resident contacting the vehicle owner, and finding undisclosed items and money had been taken.

Police say they were able to arrest the 34-year old Thunder Bay man the next day, and charge him with robbery and breach of probation.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
