This is Labour Day and that means the usual list of closures and openings.
The list of what is open today is limited.
That would include Circle K’s and other similar convenience stores and some Shoppers Drug Mart locations.
Many gas stations are also open.
You can also hop on a bus, but they are running on a holiday schedule.
Government offices, be they city provincial or federal are locked up today.
As for purchasing alcohol, the Beer Store at Red River Road and Clarkson is open from 11-5 today, but the other Beer Stores and LCBO outlets are closed.
As for shopping, the major grocery stores and malls are closed as well.
