Thunder Bay’s Community Economic Development Commission has launched a new recruitment initiative to bring doctors and other medical professionals to our city.
The organization has launched a new section on the website www.gotothunderbay.ca/health.
The site will be used to target professionals needed to fill some of the city’s most in-demand jobs, including personal support workers, nurses, pharmacists, technicians and technologists, as well as family physicians and specialists.
The website promotes Thunder Bay as a place to live and work or practice with information about job opportunities, incentives, the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, pathways to practice for international medical graduates, and quality of life in Thunder Bay.
