A delayed start to the fall sitting of the Ontario legislature has left the province’s official opposition time to brainstorm during a week of caucus meetings here in Thunder Bay.
NDP leader Andrea Horwath tells us they want to find ways to push back against recent PC government funding cuts, “decisions that hurt families, everyday people and the municipalities of Ontario that need to support families and people.”
MPPs head back to Queen’s Park for the fall sitting of the legislature on October 28th.
On Thursday, the NDP are meeting with representatives from health care, education, labour and the municipal government to discuss Thunder Bay’s concerns.
