Charges Could Be Pending In Boating Accident

It could be a couple of weeks before the police have an update on a serious boating accident on Lake Superior that left six people injured.

Traffic Sgt. Gordon Snyder tells us they still have a fair amount of investigating to do.

“There’s a lot more investigative procedures that we have to do, including some searches and submitting some of the evidence for expert analysis. This all takes a considerable amount of time that is outside of our control as a police agency.”

There’s no update on the condition of the six people who were injured, and police aren’t ruling out laying criminal charges since alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash.
