Unifor Chooses To Keep Its President

The largest union in Canada representing the private sector continues with confidence in its President.

Jerry Dias was acclaimed to the top job for Unifor at its national convention yesterday in Quebec City.

He says “I am energized to continue leading this great union. We still have a lot of work to do, the fight for social justice does not stop, and we have a great leadership team to take us through the next three years.”

After yesterday’s result, the union boss begins his third and final three year term.

Lana Payne was chosen as Secretary-Treasurer.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
