Thunder Bay’s beer tasting festival Brew Ha has brought in $5,000 for the local office of the March of Dimes.
Spokesperson Todd Kennedy tells us the money is so vital for them.
“It’s very difficult for organizations to be able to do fundraising and go after the dollars. We have such a generous community, and we are so grateful to be connected with Brew Ha because these dollars are not easy to come across.”
The money will be used to offer a local program called “Warehouse Project” that provides people living with disabilities a variety of opportunities to get out into the community.
The local beer festival has supported the charity over the last four years.
