Tribute To Dryden School Principal and Son

In the aftermath of the deaths of a popular local father and son, a spontaneous display of sympathy and support has appeared in front of their school.

St. Joseph’s School Principal Mark Lugli and 17-year old son Jacob were victims of a two-vehicle collision last Sunday on the Transcanada highway near Falcon Lake. They were traveling to a junior golf tournament in Manitoba.

In the past two days, the fence in front of the school has been covered in flowers, wreaths, ties and even golf clubs in tribute to Principal Lugli and former student Jacob who had just graduated from Dryden High School.

A funeral mass is taking place today at the Dryden Memorial Arena.
