VIDEO: Stanley Cup Gets Warm Welcome

Hundreds packed the Da Vinci Centre this afternoon to get a glimpse of the Stanley Cup.

St. Louis Blues and Thunder Bay’s own Robert Bortuzzo tells us he’s thrilled to bring it back.

“It’s special and some guys have been able to do it in the past and you know what it means to a community like this. For myself to bring it back to a community that has meant so much to me in my life and my career, it means a lot.”

The local NHL player says he brought the cup home because it’s his chance to give back to the community.

The cup is on display until 3 pm.

You can listen to the audio below of fans describing to us what they were thinking while standing with Robert Bortuzzo and the Stanley Cup.
