Barbie has had a million careers and been cast as a LOT of different people over the years, but this one may be my favourite. Last week, Mattel launched the Bowie Barbie clad in full Ziggy Stardust regalia. You can see pictures below, the recreation is pretty fantastic. I have to hand it to the people behind the Barbie brand, they’ve definitely been trying to capture a more modern audience, and including parents of the kids that would typically be their target market. My sons and I are big fans of the (absolutely ridiculous and cunningly intelligent) Barbie Life In The Dreamhouse show that you can find on Netflix as well.
