Severe Thunderstorm Watch

Environment Canada is warning us of the possibility of a severe thunderstorm.

They put a watch in effect saying conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms today.

Thunderstorms over Northwestern Ontario will continue moving east.

The storm could bring with it strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain. There is also the risk of a tornado.

A severe thunderstorm warning is issued for Atikokan, Quetico Provincial Park, Quetico, Kakabeka Falls, Upsala and Brightsand River Provincial Park, St. Raphael Provincial Park, Wabakimi Provincial Park, Gull Bay and Armstrong.
