Hammarskjold Threats Cost Police $200K

City police spent over $200,000 responding to threats made against Hammarskjold High School from February to April this year.

A report to the Police Services Board says that includes $38,230 in overtime pay for its Criminal Investigation, Intelligence, and Uniform Patrol branches.

More than 30 threats were made against Hammarskjold this school year.

Two Hamarskjold students were charged in connection to the threats.
