City police have charged a 25-year-old city man with possessing and distributing child pornography.
They say the suspect is in custody after an investigation that started in March.
Police say child porn was uploaded through a social media messaging app and other platforms in February of this year.
Officers tracked down the man who they believe owns the accounts used to send the images, and say a search of a north-side home yesterday also turned up child pornography.
