Police still have no idea how a loaded handgun managed to find its way under a woman’s vehicle recently on Brodie Street.
Thunder Bay city police Sergeant Shawn Harrison notes the gun was found on May 30th with some speculating about its origin.
He says there have been “questions raised” about whether it was related to the high risk takedown at the nearby Tim Horton’s on May Street that same day.
Harrison doesn’t know whether it’s related to that or not.
Currently police are trying discover the history of the firearm to see if it has been involved in any other type of crime.
