The city says construction work on Donald Street, from Vickers Street to May Street, is scheduled to start today.
Phase one begins with sections from Syndicate Avenue to Brodie Street, and Syndicate Avenue to Vickers Street.
Phase two, which also includes Donald Street, from Vickers Street to May Street, is set to start in two weeks.
Bus service around the city hall transfer hub will also be affected.
