Concerns Expressed At Hammarskjold Tonight

Staff, students and parents of Hammarskjold high school are gathering in the school’s gym tonight to talk about the 10 anonymous threats made to the school this year.

Lakehead school board official Bruce Nugent telling us the event is for those going to the school, but anyone else who wants to show up is welcome.

He adds the principal is expected to speak, as well as the school board, police will be there, but it’s not known if anyone from the police department will speak.

And, there’ll be a question and answer period.

The event starts at 6:30, expected to last about 2 hours.
