The death of a 25-year-old man is going to be the subject of a Coroner’s Inquest in Thunder Bay.
The Coroner’s Office tells us Emmanuel Oruitemeka died at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on February 16, 2014, after collapsing while in police custody four days earlier.
The inquest will examine the circumstances surrounding his death.
The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing future deaths.
The details about the date and location for the inquest will be announced at a later date.
