City Ready To Host Evacuees

The City is ready to host flood evacuees from Kashechewan First Nation.

Officials say the evacuation of Kashechewan may begin as early as April 15.

Thunder Bay could receive up to 250 evacuees as early as April 18th.

The plan is subject to change depending on weather and flight availability.

Kashechewan is a First Nation community located near James Bay in northern Ontario.
