New Reward Offered In School Threats

With pressure building on authorities to find those responsible for threats to Hammarskjold High School, comes word of more reward money in the case.

Thunder Bay District Crime Stoppers says it will be offering a reward of $1,000.

That is in addition to the $5,000 being offered by the Lakehead Public School Board.

The board has closed Hammarskjold six times this year due to anonymous threats directed at the high school.
Three of the threats have been made in the past week.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
