Thunder Bay MP Patty Hajdu is backing the prime minister’s decision to throw out Jody Wilson-Raybould and Jane Philpott from the federal Liberal caucus.
The two former cabinet ministers were ousted from the party after the prime minister said they expressed a lack of confidence in his leadership.
Hajdu suggesting to our newsroom Justin Trudeau had no choice since the two would not support him.
She notes the current political system demands you commit to the leader and doing otherwise, “makes it difficult to go forward.”
Hajdu adds it’s always sad when you lose two members of your team.
