If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Confederation College is offering their four-year nursing program for the fourth time to continue efforts to graduate local students and keep them in the community.
President Kathleen Lynch told us why retaining students where they graduates is important.
“We had people that wanted to take the program but couldn’t move to Thunder Bay to attend the campus, so we proposed that we offer it locally,” she explains. “Doing that, we’ve been able to supply registered nursing graduates to the hospitals and other health care facilities,” she says.
The program will be offered in Kenora, Dryden, Sioux Lookout and Fort Frances.
