City Planning South Side Roundabout

You have your chance to give the city feedback on a proposed roundabout at Victoria Avenue and Ford Street.

Spokesperson Matthew Miedema explains you can go online to give your thoughts at one of two public meetings.

One will take place on Tuesday, January 15th from 4-7 pm at the Salvation Army Community Church on East Victoria, and the following day from 4-7pm at Mariner’s Hall on the waterfront.

The proposal would see a one lane traffic circle built at that intersection with the traffic lights at Victoria and Lillie Street removed.

The city official says if all goes as planned, the traffic circle will be constructed and in operation by this time next year.
