A highly anticipated report from the Ontario Civilian Police Commission is in the hands of our local police services board.
The report by Senator Murray Sinclair examines many issues including the relationship between the Indigenous community and the police service and its board.
Sinclair released an interim report over a year ago, and the full report is expected to be made public at 2 o’clock Friday.
Board Chair Celina Reitberger tells us members of the board including herself won’t speak about the recommendations in the report until it is released.
