Mixed Reviews On Implementation Of Report

Ontario’s Office of the Independent Police Review Director has released his report pointing to racism existing in the Thunder Bay police force.

To find out if you think the 44 recommendations in the report will be implemented, we took our news mic into the community to find out.

Most people were hopeful the report will be used, with one noting it’ll take time to get the idea’s put to work.

One person didn’t agree with everything that was pointed out, thinking there’s more to it, and that racism is a two-edged sword.

One woman was sympathetic with police, noting with what police deal with everyday, they have a tough job to do.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
