In business news, a new product has been launched by a Moncton-based company which is designed to eliminate cannabis odours.
Luc Jalbert, co-founder of Prelam Enterprises, says he and the chemists in his lab collaborated and tested a spray they call LUKY-8.
“I had to be a bit creative and go into the baby barn. I wasn’t smoking it but I was smoking up the barn with cannabis so I would have enough of that odour characteristic sitting in the air. Then I would go in the barn and spray… then step out and purge my nose,” he notes.
Jalbert says sales of the LUKY-8 spray have really taken off since it was launched on October 17th when recreational cannabis was legalized.
Demand is growing from vape shops and cannabis retailers across the country.
