Charities Ask For Your Support Today

It’s Giving Tuesday across Canada and charities everywhere are asking for your donations.

Lindsay Doran of the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre Foundation says they want your help as well to raise $25,500.

It will be used to purchase a defibrillator for the hospital’s operating room.

You can also donate $10 to the Thunder Bay United Way by retweeting a video message they have.

Meanwhile, Lakehead University is also taking part in Giving Tuesday.

Lakehead University’s Alumni Association has agreed to match donations up to the first $25,000 in new gifts received towards student financial aid.

Since 2016, $99,214 has been raised through Lakehead’s Giving Tuesday efforts.
