I know, I know… its only the first weekend. But its finally here. Time to put away summer toys, summer plans and memories and move into the most wonderful time of the year! It’s almost Fall! The colours, the fresh air….and….the Vikings.
I’m lucky that at my house – I get a few hours a week to just sit and enjoy a game. I’m a big Vikings fan…in case you didnt know… and still trying to get past last year’s horrific loss. I don’t want to talk about it. But my therapist said i should – i’m just not ready. Ha!
I think Thunder Bay has a soft spot for the Vikings because of where we are. The other half of the city has a connection to the Packers….because they like cheese. And wearing it on their head. But thats a post for another day.
Are you fired up for the season? How’s your team look? Are we allowed to just be happy for the season? I sure am. Vikings looked good yesterday. I’ll try not to show my excitment for the season too much on the air – although – you may hear the sound of the horn and SkOL! now and again – don’t be alarmed.
